2016 ENVELOPE BOXES
Each stewardship box contains Fifty (50) Weekly envelopes, one for every Sunday of the year except Easter Sunday on April 27 and the Day of Pentecost/Whit Sunday, May 15. This is so because the Diocesan Constitution and Regulations set aside those days - Easter Sunday and Day of  Pentecost/Whit Sunday for special collections to be taken up in all our congregations for the Parish Priest and other clergy who assist them in the leadership of worship.  In our Parish the Day of Pentecost/Whit Sunday collection is shared among our Deacon Assistant, Rev. Joseph Edmeade and the Parish’s Lay Preachers.

The boxes have in ten (10) Building Fund envelopes, one for the fourth Sunday in each and every month except the months of May and November. The 2016 stewardship boxes have in six (6) Special envelopes as follows: One special envelope for Ash Wednesday - February 10, Good Friday – March 25, Easter Sunday – March 27 – Special collection for your  Parish Priest; one special envelope for the Day of Pentecost/Whit Sunday – May 15 - Special collection for Liturgical     Ministers; three (3) special envelopes for Publication offerings – May 29, July 31, and October 29/30 – 5th Sundays. June 22 - Trinity Sunday – our Feast of Title we have a special Patronal Festival offering envelope.  Finally on November 27, the Sunday before Advent Sunday 2016 we have our Harvest Thanksgiving Festival with a special harvest offering envelope. Please note that there are no Christmas offering envelopes in the boxes because our Christmas offering is taken up in the Christmas money tree offering during the whole Christmas season.  Each box has in a total of sixty-five (68) envelopes, which is an additional three to the 65 we had in 2015. We encourage all stewardship members to try and return all the envelopes through the upcoming year.

CHRISTMAS MONEY TREES:

The Christmas trees are up in both our Parish Churches and will continue to be available for your donations from now until Sunday January 03, the day before the Feast of the Epiphany on January 06, which marks the official end of the Christmas season. Give generously as all moneys from the Christmas trees will go towards the Parish Projects and ongoing maintenance of parish properties.

2016-2020 - HOLY TRINITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM:
We are now undertaking plans to mobilized the entire Parish for discussions and finalization for our next 5 year Development Plan: toward VISION 2020. We are looking for the next 5 years in our Parish to be dedicated to a period steeped down in the 3R’s: RENEWAL, RESTORATION and RECONSECRATION.

It is being planned as a time when every Parishioner would be invited to deeply explore her/his gifting and calling  and be RENEWED for RESTORATION to that deep and extremely intimate relationship that was experienced between God, human being and the entire creation at the beginning of the world. This would pave the way for RECONSECRATION to service for God and His Kingdom. It is about empowering the whole people of God to minister to God through our active engagement with each other and in Christ’s mission and ministry to the world.

In this connection, I am asking that every Parishioners offer prayers and get involve in meditation as we seek God’s guidance and direction towards VISION 2020. We ask for the prayers of all Parishioners as we think in terms of our next Parochial Development and Renewal Program. I ask for the prayers and reflection of all concerned as we plan towards VISION 2020: HOLY TRINITY NEXT DEVELOPMENT PLAN— 2016-2020. Let us be dedicated to the 3R’S: RENEWAL, RESTORATION and RECONSECRATION

HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY SCHOOL: Our Parish Sunday school is going on, sessions are held at 7:15am on Second and Fourth Sundays. We are catering for children 4-16 years. They come to the Parish’s Mass at the usual 7:00am, then they leave after the reading of the Gospel around 7:15am for the Multi-Purpose Complex, where the Sunday school sessions are held. The children and their teachers return to the Church during the distribution of Holy Communion.  We ask for the support of all our Parishioners to ensure that children attend consistently on second (2nd) and fourth (4th) Sundays.
