We have been advised by the supplier that the material is of a very high quality and the sizes are 'standard fit'. He also said that his preference is to receive all orders at the same time to improve efficiency and turn around time.

These shirts are to be worn at the various activities except the closing service.

As we celebrate 175 years of our diocese's history let us be mindful that we are in fact celebrating the witness that has been offered in the name of and to the glory of the risen Christ.  I pray that this celebration of our Lord’s Resurrection will be one that enables us to truly grow in confidence and into deeper communion with our God.

Envelopes for contributions towards the 175th Anniversary of our Diocese are now available.  Additional envelopes can be collected next Sunday or during the week from the Parish Office.  Please write your name and the amount on the envelope to assist us with our record keeping.

Vocations:-  Parishioners are being encouraged to volunteer for an hour or two in the following ministries:

1. The Altar Guild at St George’s and St. Barnabas, where much help is needed in preparing the sanctuary for divine worship. Please contact Mrs. Lola Warner and Ms. Claudette Manchester respectively, if you would like to assist.

2. The St. Christopher Outreach Centre, to assist in food preparation for the needy and shut-ins, any day Mon to Fri. Please contact Mrs. Nora Bourne or Mrs. Rosie Phipps if you wish to share in this ministry

3. Cruise Visitors and Tourists Guide, Cruise visitors and tourists who come to St. George’s Church from ships and hotels—a most exciting ministry. Please contact Ms. Sonia Henry if you would like to welcome visitors to our shores and tell them about the history and life of our Church, Parish and Island.

4. The Parish Social Outreach Committee, whose members visit the sick and house-bound members from our two congregations, for birthdays, provide lunch and gifts at Christmas time,  and arrange annual outings. Please contact Nurse Fernella Griffin or Mrs. Hyacinth Cabey, if you would like to help. These are the areas in which you might wish to be involved for a few weeks or months at a time.

Thank you for your positive responces
